Sarajevo Airport is the most important airport of the three commercial airports in the southeast European Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is in the city of the same name, the capital of the Bosnian-Croatian Federation.

Location:

The airport is about 5 miles south west of the city centre. From Sarajevo take the M-18/E762 to Foča and follow the signs to the airport grounds.
Those arriving by public transport take trains or buses to Sarajevo Main Station and then continue by taxi. A shuttle bus service is not available. Alternatively take the bus route 36 towards "Nedžarići" and get off at the high street shortly before the airport. Buses run during the day at 30 minute intervals.
