Salt Lake City International Airport is an airport in the western part of Salt Lake City in the federal state of Utah. It is Delta Airline’s third largest hub and also serves as hub for the partners of Delta Connection, Atlantic Southeast Airlines and SkyWest. Southwest airlines has a particularly strong presence at the airport.

The airport is northwest of downtown Salt Lake City. Passengers arriving by car please take the Interstate #80 leaving at exit 115.
Rail passengers take the "California Zephyr“ Amtrak service to Salt Lake City Rail Station and then catch one of the buses serving the airport operated by the local transport operator UTA.

Salt Lake City International airport serves 105 non-stop destinations and therefore more than any other western main airport in the USA including the airports in Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle and Las Vegas. In 1968, the airport was given its current name and Terminal 2 which was finished in 1978, housed Western Airlines, an airline that merged with Delta Air Lines in 1987, leading to an increase in the flights on offer at Salt Lake City Airport.
