Pittsburgh International Airport is located in the Pittsburgh suburb Findlay Township at the junction of the Interstate Highways I-376 and I-576; some parts of the airport are in Moon Township.
According to surveys of passenger satisfaction, Pittsburgh International Airport is at second place of the most popular airports in the world behind the Singapore Changi Airport, in the United States it takes up the first place. In the U.S. it is the fourth largest airport by area.

West of downtown Pittsburgh, the airport may easily be reached via most of the major Interstate highways from Western Pennsylvania. Coming from Pittsburgh take the RT 279 south to the RT 22/30 and then to the RT 60 northwards following this to exit 5, which leads to the airport. From the north take the I-79 south, exit 60B (Moon Run / Airport) and the RT 60 north to the airport. Another airport exit on the RT 60 is exit 6
