Louis Amtstrong New Orleans Int. Airport, also known by its former name Moisant Field is the biggest and most important airport in the US state of Louisiana. Along with the airport in Shiphol, Amsterdam it is the lowest lying airport in the world 1 metre above sea level.

The airport is west of New Orleans, near the town of Kenner. Car drivers take either the Interstate-Highway 10 to exit #223 a+b or via the Interstate-Highway 310 at exit #2, the airport is then signposted.
Rail passengers take trains to New Orleans Amtrak Station and then from the Louisiana Superdome opposite take the Airport-Downtown Express (E-2) operated by the local transport company Jefferson Transit .
