History:
The Indian low-cost airline Spice Jet was launched in May 2005 in Delhi. It is one of the many newly established so-called ’no-frills’ airlines in India, which are oriented on the largest low-cost carrier Ryanair. The fares of the airline are staggered; at the start the cheapest tickets were priced at 99 Indian Paisa, which converted amounts to less than one cent.

Network:
Spicejet currently serves 14 destinations in India from its hub in Delhi on a regular basis. Destinations include the cities Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Srinagar and Varanasi.
