Becoming the nation?s second-largest low-fare airline didn?t happen by chance. It happened because America West customers told us what they wanted and we responded. This year we?re adding service in three cities: Anchorage, Alaska; Kalispell, Mont.; and next month, Sioux Falls, S.D. We?ve also implemented new nonstop routes between cities, including service from Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego and Oakland to Mexico and Canada. Today, America West?s route system includes travel to 96 destinations throughout the United States and across the borders to Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica?more destinations than any other low-fare airline.
We also forged alliances with other airlines in 2004, opening travel around the world for America West customers. Code-sharing alliances allow one airline to place its two-letter code (HP for America West) on other carrier?s flights, which offers convenience for customers who can enjoy a single check-in process for all segments of their flights...
